Mark Rawlins

Mark RAWLINS is responsible for the Business Development for Government activities in Eutelsat, with a specific focus on the defense agencies and the UK MOD. He has recently taken up this role, having previously managed the teams responsible for the service delivery and customer facing teams for the Eutelsat fleet of satellites and its teleports. Prior to joining Eutelsat, nearly 25 years ago, Mark worked in British Telecom and was responsible for managing the cable, fibre and terrestrial microwave services linking France to the United Kingdom and the local television distribution network.

Mark has more recently been involved in the Space Data Association (SDA), a not for profit association of satellite operators and space faring entities that provides safety of flight services and RF interference tools to its members. Mark has recently handed over Chairmanship of the association after slightly more than a two year tenure, and continues to support the association as an Executive Director.
