Iulian Chifu

Iulian Chifu is an associated professor at the National School of Political and Administrative Studies Bucharest. He is the founder of the Conflict Prevention and Early Warning Center Bucharest. He served as Presidential Counselor for Strategic Affairs and International Security and as Advisor for Foreign Policy, Security and Defense of the Vice-President of the Romanian Senate. A researcher and journalist by training he was correspondent of the BBC World Service, Romanian Service. He is specialized in Conflict Analysis, Crisis Decision making and the post-Soviet Space. He is a member of the board of the Center for Energy and Resource Security - EUCERS at King’s College London, UK.
